ULTRA LIGHT – very light poles for the most demanding users; made of the highest quality carbon fiber. Active Tip – a special widia “tooth” that keeps the stick stable on any surface. Carbide – a special alloy of metal, semimetal, and carbon atoms from which the tips of widia (sticks) are made. This material is significantly more abrasion-resistant than steel. CARBON – the highest quality carbon fiber makes the poles light and stiff. Gabel uses up to seven layers of carbon fiber per pole.
