The Pedroc TirolWool® Responsive Jacket is a lightweight, warm and breathable jacket for fast movement in cold conditions. Made from TirolWool® Responsive – our patented wool hybrid insulation fill – it provides the right mix of insulating properties and breathability. TirolWool® Responsive combines the natural benefits of high-lanolin wool from Tyrolean mountain sheep with state-of-the-art thermoregulation technology. Wool provides warmth even when wet, helps regulate body temperature and prevents the build-up of unpleasant odors. Responsive is a patented blend of thermoreactive minerals powdered and fused into a resin that is placed in a core of recycled polyester fibers. It has the unique ability to convert the body’s radiant energy into infrared light and then transform, store and reflect it back to the body over time. This increases circulation and blood flow, maintaining long-term isolation and speeding up recovery. We use 50-gram TirolWool® Responsive padding on both the shoulders and chest, wrap it in a lightweight, windproof nylon outer fabric, and give it a DWR finish for rain resistance. Underarm inserts made of double-woven Durastretch fabric allow sweat to evaporate and dry quickly. It features an insulated hood, two zippered side pockets and a secure chest pocket to provide plenty of storage options for items you need to keep close at hand.
